The RW Painting Process:
Prior to starting a project at your commercial site or residence, Owner, Ron Weiand personally inspects your structure:

  • Conducts a complimentary consultation which includes a full walk-thru with you.  We will review your project with you and obtain all necessary information as well as discuss various options. 
  • A full written proposal will follow.

 

RW Painting's Commitment to You Includes:
  • 5-year warranty on craftsmanship and material included.
  • Drop clothes and plastic are utilized to ensure all interior and exterior non-painted surfaces are protected.
  • Removes all trash and rubbish resulting from the project.
  • All remaining paint to be in original cans with labels and color information and left for the client.
  • Information on the paint used and where purchased to be left for the client.
  • Porta potties/lavatory supplied on site, if needed. 

 

Exterior Painting Includes:
  • Power wash all painted surfaces.
  • Scrape and sand all blistered paint to a sound surface.
  • Spot prime any bare wood items.
  • Caulk all cracks, splits and joints, trim to trim, trim to siding
  • Loose nails checked, re-nailed or replaced.
  • Apply exterior paint by spraying and back rolling to body of project.
  • Roll and brush paint to all trim, doors, columns, handrails, spickets, and shutters.
  • Stucco seal by spraying and back rolling stucco chimneys.

 

Interior Painting Includes:


  • Sand all trim to ensure excellent adhesive for surface coat.
  • Dust and clean walls as required to apply top coat.
  • Repair plaster and sheet-rock cracks.
  • Tape and texture repair.
  • Apply interior paint by rolling and brushing to project.

What other items should I check when hiring a painting contractor?

“Be sure you get what you contract for.   For example, in the painting industry, two coats of paint means just that.  One coat is applied.  After drying, another coat is applied.  Make sure the company you hire is not telling you that you are getting two coats when they just go back and forth with a sprayer on the same application.  This is only one coat.”
